make that a 14 KPH wind, not 12 MPH. Much better--about 7-8 mph. Looks like a pretty fast day.

It's chilly and windy tonight. Gillis ran 2:11:49 last year at this event, and 2:13.46 in the spring in Ottawa. It's hard to say. Gillis needs to pull something grand out of his hat for this one.
Also watch for Kelly Wiebe to take a solid stab at the record as well.
Anyone doing an all-nighter Amsterdam then Toronto?
There will be a stream in Dutch available.
Let's go Rob!
Is a big name in this?
Not as windy this morning. It's currently 3C/37F, nw winds at 11k/7m ph, light clouds.

Watson paced Flanagan to 41k @ 2:21 pace 3 weeks ago.
Kenyans might get recovery from a 40k hard @ 7000 feet in 4
weeks.
We'll see what it did to Rob.
We apologize. SOmehow the spam bots ended up getting this thread deleted. It's back up.
Gillis looks pretty solid still. Might be a touch more breeze right now, they're heading into it for the last leg.
The men's race is a 2 man surge they cut away for a minute to show a volunteer group.
KEEP THE FOCUS ON THE FRONT.
KORIR AND JUFAR COME FROM NOWHERE TO COME BACK TO THE FRONT AT 39KM!
Korir with the surge and drops Jufar just past 40km
Leaders passing the St. Lawrence Market. Time to let it all out.
2:08:14 for Korir! Smart running in the last 5km!
Korir. 2:08:15
