The Nike Zoom Ventulus are the best shoe on the market weighing only 4.8 ounces (Kennedy's are 5.2 Oz) I ordered a pair from East Bay but they are sold out. Anybody know where else to get these awesome shoes besides the NIKE website. I need them soon!!! LATER!
They're the lightest shoe on the market, but I don't know about best. Do 0.4 ounces really make that much difference? There are other considerations when buying spikes you might want to consider
I've got both the Vents and the Kennedys. On the plus side Vents have a more sock-like fit, that I prefer. On the downside, the Vent spikes are permanent and they're too long for my taste -- 1/4 inch x-mas tree spikes -- they dig into my feet. Also, they're placed further back on the forefoot which I find makes it more difficult to get up on my toes.
Perhaps they'll work for you, but don't let 0.4 ounces be the one deciding factor. Definitely try them on, if you can.
