I am moving to Rapid City for a couples of months this summer and was wondering if the running out there is any good.
I was just joking about rapid City being in North Dakota. I meant South Dakota. My bad.
where at? what for? how serious are you? do you want to train with a group? do you have your own transportation? what caliber of runner are you?
I am not sure yet. I am getting a job at Rushmore. I would love to train with a group. I am currently running for a small college in mid missouri. I would have transportation at times, depending. I am not a fast runner but i get what i have to get done. I run anything from the 5k-10k. The longest run i have ran was a 30k back in highschool. Is there any way I can contact you to find out more about your group?
good distance. good place to work. had a friend last summer work there and run. he is running real well for a small college somewhere in the midwest. missouri? hmmmmmmm/ what brings you to s.d.
i just want to try something new. my friend found some jobs out there that we could apply for so we were like what the hell. i also heard that there are great mountain bike trails and rock climbing spots. SO i am so excited about trying everything out. And south dakota sounds like it would be interesting.
got an e-mail and i will contact you through msn messenger right now.
I am not good with computers or whatever but are you talking about instant messanger crap because i don't have that stuff and if i did i would not know how to use it...Typical female right? anyways you can contact me at xcbeth@hotmail.com. Just make sure that you put something on the whatever it is subject so i don't erase it right away. Thanks for helping me out.
I was out there a few summers ago and stayed in a friends cabin near a lake in the Black Hills. Not that this helps you, but we were able to find a bunch of trails with no problems. Any good detailed map of the area and some exploring and you should be able to find some good places. Seemed like a good place to get some training in. I think that there is a D2/D3/or NAIA school there and they were good this year (I think it is call Black Hills) so maybe contacting the coach there might help. Good luck and have fun.
thanks
