What happened to him? He ran much faster in the semi!!

Kszczot blew by him with 100 to go and he had no response. Looked like he gave up.

He went through 600 in 77s and finished in 1.46ish. Huge fade.
He surrendered.
Damn, Bosse, Mekhissi-Benabbad, Martinot-Lagarde, and Lemaitre, all fail to get that gold so far... well, I guess Kowal got one. Lemaitre should get one soon.
With Gemili in the 200m I dont know if Lemaitre is a clear favorite
He faded badly in the last 100 to go from first to last!
We are working on a race re-cap of this stunning result.
Kszczot's gold isn't that shocking but the last place for BOsse is.

Not all that stunning for Bosse.
He hasn't show consistency through rounds yet. Running one all-out 1:42 race does not necessarily mean he can run prelims, 1:45 semi and then lead the whole final too. Goes to show why Rudisha is so special
Tried to lead from gun to tape and ran out of gas. 50.8 at the bell? Something like that.
The clear class of the field by time so he thought it safe to try a Rudisha. Big mistake.

Kszzot is a gamer, always has been. Any race without Rdushia, Aman or Amos, I would not bet against him.
Wasn't smart to try and run away from the field - he obviously isn't ready for that yet. Ran a good 700m though. Everyone thinks they are Rudisha!! He can't get away with it these days either.
Not sure what Bosse's 400m PR is?
He never looked relaxed the whole race (cold and wet conditions), and essentially became the rabbit for the field.
the second pole finished like a train. Look how far back he is with 100m to go
Is it weird how focused I was on the wardrobe choices of the Poles?
We had Kszczot in a green undershirt and spandex, Lewandowski in in a blue undershirt and split shorts, and the other Polish lad in no undershirt and spandex.
Didn't even seem like they were on the same team.
My weird focuses aside, impressive close by Kszczot. Bosse needs to stick with the formula that worked all year, sitting in 2nd/3rd/4th and making his move late as opposed to 200m into the race. Also, try wearing the French football kit again.

Bosse didn't go out particularly fast--24-mid, 50.97, 1:17.24--for whatever reason he just ran out of gas today. Ill? Not enough endurance training to last the rounds?

He had trachycardia before the race (his heart was beating too fast). He actually said before the race "This is not going to go well" cause he knew he was not on top physical form.
I guess he tried to do what he could, cause he knew he wouldn't have the kick in the end.
lol lol lol lol wrote:

1:38 pace the first 200.
I went out that fast in 10th grade.
However I didn't finish well, but that's not the point.
if he starts doping like rudisha did from 2009-2012
then the endurance will not be problem.
gw501516 . oh well cant use it anymore .
ask farah aslo.
