1:48?
Was it uphill?

First lap split was 57.37. So, slightly tactical you might say.
Makhloufi third in 1:49.08
I really want to see Kiprop vs Amos again.
1:48.54 to 1:48.74. Makhdaddy in 3rd.
Amos is definitely the best 800 runner right now.
So 57.3/51.1 splits. I would like to see the video if there was one, if just for comedic value.
a botswana guy won the 400m in 44.23

When and where?
Hope you're not thinking of "the keg race" at JMU because he certainly went out faster than 60.
it was 56 52 split aman is better in my book.. he ran a poor race. he should have taken this if he went wire to wire. amos is a spoiled brat. he will bomb next year because he is not disciplined.

He doesn't come across as very spoiled in this interview. It seems like he had some issues in 2013, but it looks like he straightened them out for this year at least.
Also, you don't lose 3 races in a row to someone without that someone being better than you. Aman did a good job last year taking advantage of the circuit without Rudisha and Amos, but he's simply not as talented as either.
Nice race by Amos.
He has the fastest time in the world so you can't run away from him.
Just hope he gets in a bad position in a bunched up slow pace.
But he still just runs you down.
Too good.
Looks like a pretty complete runner to me.
Reminds me of Kipketer.
Last 200 in 24.6.
Botswana = new doping center? They got Montsho already.
that was an entertaining watch.
His soundtracks are so "dope"
And can you tell me ONE performance enhancing effect of the stimulant she was caught with...Maybe it was banned because it was dangerous, and been linked to deaths (death, also not performance enhancing). Marijuana is also a banned substance, with NO performance enhancing effects, unless the performance you want to enhance is songwriting. Not all banned substances are performance enhancing. We need to stop treating all doping violations as the same, because they are not.

Dude, the race was won in 1:48, does it matter what the last 200 was in?
is it just me or does makhloufi look... different?
like he trimmed down or somethin
Why wasn't Mak-Loof in DL Monaco 1500m w/ the big guys? He could have been one of the 4 3:29 guys...

Isn't the Kenyan championships at altitude?
