He's in better shape than Solinsky!!

Mottram might be in better shape than Solinsky, but 41:56 is quite a slow winning time for the C2S (the course record is 40:03 by Moneghetti). Mottram said that he underestimated the toughness of the course and I imagine that, although he would be pleased with the win, he would have been disappointed with the time.
Does anyone have any idea what Mottram's plans are?
yeh i sure do, plans to run on to 2016 but let no body know about it.... stick the foot up the a*** of former training partners and coach of the melbourne track club nick bideau
why cause he loves the sport and wants to prove hes still got it
Glad to see him still competing. He'll always be one of my favorite runners.
Most famous race in Australia. 80,000 runners. Mona has record. Deek second fastest. Every top Aussie has run it. Biggest race in Aus and possibly the world. City to Surf. 14km. Sydney CBD to Bondi. Very hilly. Yes. A classic race. Good run by Buster. Nice feather in cap to win the City to Surf.
Mottram is not race calloused as was Mona, Deek or anyone else who has won C2S with a brisk time. It's a good start and I'm certain Wardlaw will have him in good form in short order.

Good to hear. Mottram is too good to be a triathlete.
