Does any one know of any fast runners that have this conditon and use an inhaler before they run everyday? I just got it last spring and i feel that it had a minor affect on my ability.

There are a lot of fast runners who supposedly have it (e.g. Suzy Favor Hamilton). I've heard it can go away with the proper rest.
Harry, what do you mean by proper rest?

Choline supplements, Choline is so helpful to those with so-called EIA, that I often give 100-200mg 3-4 x day, for a period of two months. Eggs, fish & wheatgerm are excellent sources of Choline in the diet.
I can't name any fast runners with EIA off the top of my head, but I have had it for 17 years. Try slowing down the pace but extending the distance of your warm-up, then take about 10 minutes of rest, then do a decent amount of strides the 10 minutes before the race starts. Learn to race with even splits as opposed to blowing out the first mile to avoid an attack. Try an inhaler about 15 minutes prior to running. Good luck.
