Kiprop
Rudisha
Kiprop. Rudisha is speed-oriented 800 runner. Kiprop is a speed-oriented 1500 runner. It's easier to go under-distance than over-distance for them.
At the moment Kiprop wins without any problem. They have they same 800m (they share the WL) but there is no chance in hell Rudisha can run 3.29 1500m; think of Aman, he is more endurance based than Rudisha (he even said last year he was going to try 1500m) but couldn't do better than 2.16 in the 1000m without even winning the race. Even if Rudisha is in 1.40.9 shape I don't see him beating Kiprop. It would be a lot more interesting to see Rudisha vs Merritt over 500m.
Kiprop wins this right now after his 1:43.xx recently.
Pretty good race concept when they are both in top form.
Kiprop is one of the best 800m runners in the world and has been the top guy at 1500m.
So it's easy to lean towards Kiprop.
But Rudisha has 2s+ advantage over 800m and the distance is closer to the 800.
All of the top times in history are by runners who excelled at the 1500.
The race would have to go where Rudisha hits the 800 in 1:43 mid and tries to hold on.
Kiprop would be a second back and charging.
I think Kiprop is going to pass him with 20m left.
Rudisha's chances are to either make it too fast to keep up, or have a slow enough opening lap that he can use his speed to finish.
Once Rudy gets in better shape he will mothafuc kin fu ck with assie-bel
I think the best distance for the closest finish between the two would be somewhere around 850 meters right now. Anything less and Rudisha wins, and anything more and it's Kiprop. In the 1K, it's Kiprop by 4-6 meters.
Rudisha's never tried at this distance. No doubt he would run a fast one. But Kiprop is probably capable of running 1:42 mid or better in a Rudisha-led race, so he should be able to beat Rudisha at 1k, just not at 900.
both cheats ......simples
where would your speed be without igf-1 lr3
and rudisha will never have the same endurance without
GW501516
Yur slow lol xD
Kiprop
But Ryun in his prime would get them both

only nominally
asbel ran ~ 6m extra on bends
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doiVUuPhlcE+ gambolling like a freshly-whelped gelding in lane 2 on 1st homestretch, so little drafting
+ throwing way serious tenths running dead-fuuckin-last to 200m - it's "permanent" thrown away time from unenforced jogging
just the 6m extra cost him
~ 1'42.5+
the rest make it for a route-1 fast-to-bell 800 a likely
1'42-flat
as for 1k
his "perfect" 1500 may be currently 3'25-high/3'26-low ->
1'42.0 / 3'25.75 - 3'26.25 ->
46.59 - 46.74
2'10.93 - 2'11.05
capable of serious demolition of noah's p!ss-weak 2'11.9, but run off suicidal 49.8, a 3'29.1 win from 44 hours earlier crippling his legs & ~ 7m extra distance on 1st bend

There should be a big notice next to all your comments stating, 'Health Warning'.
You come out with the biggest load of bu*****t of anyone on these boards.
Almost all of the above is utter drivel, to use your own words.
You asked posters on a thread you started a few weeks back as to the extra distance Ngeny ran in his 1K WR, and no one agreed with your exaggerated, nonsensical claim of it being 6m, IIRC. They all without fail said it was 2 or 3m. You now state 7m. Unbelievable.
As for Kiprop's 800, his slower first 200 enabled him to run more event 200 splits than the rest of the field, which is the best was for some to run the event. He runs his 800 s like Cram did back in the day. He runs the best way that suits him. He's run several 800 s going off faster and dieing in the straight. You just can't get it into your thick skull that not everyone runs their best covering the first 400 2 secs faster than the 2nd.
Yeah, and didn't he say that it was "an important moment in our sport?" How is it an important moment if it's "p!ss weak?"
Hard to tell at this point in time.
If Rudisha was in his 2012 shape he would MURDER Ngeny's doped-up WR.
Moderators, why are Ventolin's posts like the above, full of insults and invective, allowed to remain?

So the doped-up 2012 Rudisha would murder the doped up Ngeny's 1000WR?
Maybe. Doubt it. Rudisha is much more of a Cruz than a Coe. Suspect he'd fall off A LOT in performance with the added distance.
fool
get a brain
moron
nothing but pea-brain drivel
fool
no one disputed 8+m run extra on 1st bend - staggered start of ~ 1+m
show me head-on shot entire 1st bend ???

asbel has never chased a 800 time
what part of 6m extra in 1'43.3 when jogging 200m for dead-fuuckin last your peabrain not comprehend ???
