Yet there no groaning, no grabbing his leg, just a shot of him being quickly wheeled away and that was it. Looked fake to me, I've seen soccer players do better acting jobs.
What do you think LRC?? Did Blake fake this injury?

Actually, you're kind of right. He was getting his butt kicked nicely.
On a Caribbean forum somebody is saying it was just a cramp, not a ham tear. We will see.
Anybody find a vid on this?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!
Goes down in a heap in Glasgow, gets carted off in a wheelchair.
Don't let the door hit your axs on the way out.

It would be a stupid thing to do.

Incisive comment from a definite expert on stupidity.

I'd call it concise.

Happens all the time with people who are getting their butts kicked. You have to be pretty stupid not to know about fake injuries...or fear of afterevent drug tests.
Glasgow would be a strange place to have a cramp due to heat. Muscle pull due to sitting in the cold for 30 minutes after a warmup would be a possibility.

I didn't comment on whether he was or wasn't. Just that it would be a stupid thing to do.
No way that was faked. Next time you're at your local high school track, bring yourself to full speed in the straight and try falling down on purpose.

I DID call it "incisive", because that is what I meant.
Nobody cares what YOU would call it, because...

It wouldn't be a problem while traveling at Blake's speed at 50m, lol
Thanks, though I'm still going with concise.
If I was Blake's age I might try it but at my age that's definitely not going to be happening, lol. I guess I was suspicious of him even before the race today because I found his explanations for why he dropped out of the Commonwealth Games to be completely unconvincing. Said he didn't want to jeopardize his training for Rio 2016.

How many times do we have to go over this? If athletes wanted to avoid in-competition testing, wouldn't it make much more sense to simply NOT SHOW UP to the competition? Why would anyone afraid of testing positive go to the trouble of agreeing to come to the event, coming to the event, AND starting the race?
Avoiding in-competition testing isn't his only goal; realizing the appearance fee is another.
Please, not again wrote:

You don't think they're getting paid for all this 'trouble'?
Still get a (not insubstantial) appearance fee for turning up and taking an embarrassing dive. Don't get one for staying at home.
