So guys would you ever date a girl that has a faster track PR (PB for Canadians) than you? And if so, how could you live with yourself?

Never unless she was a sprinter but I'm not into their body type so absolutely not.

They're still faster than you, whether you're dating them or not. How do you live with yourself anyways?
Just to be fair to the thread I do date someone that is faster than me. it bruised my ego at first but I am fat and slow now so it wouldn't take much to beat me.
If a girl has a faster PR than you, then I think you need to step it up buddy
Yes, I would.
I'd also date a woman smarter than me.
I'd also date a woman that made more money that me.
If I could find all three of those in a single woman, I'd really have something!
My PRs are faster than the women's world records in the 800m - 5000m, so its kind of an impossibility at this point. But yeah, I'd date a world record holder - especially now in my late 40s.
If it was Emma Coburn, maybe. Only has me beat by .1 in the mile.
My wife is about 8 years older than me, and while my absolute PRs are faster than hers, I wonder how the "age graded" ones would stack up. I still think I'd win but it would be a heck of a lot closer.
I did.
I was a shitty mid 15 guy who dated one of the better females in the NCAA a few years ago.
How could I live with myself?
Well, I certainly wouldn't have traded the sex for having a faster PR if that's what you're asking. Not bragging, just being honest. As an average looking distance dude who didn't care much for running at that point I was quite ecstatic about the situation.
To be fair I think she only had a better 10k pr at the time. Pretty sure she's eclipsed the 5k. If she ever gets my 1500 I might come back to this thread with a bit more negativity. Actually, not really, because that would mean she'd be medal threat; and that would be sick.
Would I date Genzebe Dibaba

me too, or if they were not married worknesh kidane, or bezunesh bekele, or meseret defar, or when she turns 18 dawit sayeum.
i suffered a non running injury in 2005 and have not been able to run since and am close to 100 pounds fatter than when i could run, i cant run no more, but obviously i have not stopped liking eating or watching girls, even if i cant get any any more probably due to how disgustinly fat i have become, and i am only attracted to fit and in shape athletic women, so fml.
I would date Mary Cain

If Mary Cain has faster PRs than you you're not very good.
Those 25 minute 5k gals can be intimidating.
But, you know what?
Go for it.
We're all winners.

This is true
If there were women with faster PRs than me I would.
Good is relative. Stop being dicks. Not everyone can be a world beater. Mary cain is faster than 99% of all males and I'd bet my left nut she's faster than 99% of this board - today.
If you're insecure in a relationship just because your partner is faster / bigger / "better" in sports, you need to stop being a wuss.
Absolutely. I'd love to date a world record holder.
