So this idea of incorporating easy weeks into the base building phase - how exactly does it work?
Do you
1) Just cut a certain percentage (mileage) off of every run?
2) Take 1 or 2 extra days off?
3) Eliminate the fast stuff (tempo and LT runs)?
4) Eliminate the long stuff?
I've been building my miles for a while now and with New Year's coming next Wedneday, I figured it would be a good time to schedule an easy week for next week.
I'm sure there are lots of opinions on how to do these, so let's hear 'em.
