How does she keep managing to do this? She needs to watch her step.

It's quite bizarre! What are the odds?
Coincidence???
one too many times for me to feel sorry for her anymore. learn to race or pick a different distance.
That Uruguayan soccer dude bites again and again while Uceny falls over and over. It's the same mechanism going on. Both are mentally weak, or even bordering on mental illness.
She's never going to be a contender on the world stage again if she doesn't get it together.
Does she have a balance problem? Did she ever have a history of falling a lotin high school or college?
She spends alot of her races looking down with her head tilted. It seems she is more focused on people behind her than she should be. With any contact from behind she goes down like she hit a trip wire. Eyes need to be up and focused ahead.
Really ? I'd say she doesn't focus enough on the people behind her, since she keeps getting tripped from behind.
looks like they're going after Mcgee = DQ, not that it matters at this point...but Morgan needs to run the 400 were everyone stays in their lanes! My god.....has there every been a story of a runner falling in races like before?
4:12 mark of this video

Will Morgan train with some boys to get stronger and comfortable being pushed in crowds?
I watched it in slow mo frame by frame. I have to agree with Jorge Torres, I saw three instances of contact between Uceny and McGee. The first time I was like there it is, then a second time and a third. I gotta put this one squarely on McGee. If you keep running into the runner in front of you, back the f off a half step or pass on the outside. Of course Uceny could have sped up, but that's not her responsibility. But falling three times in championship races is clearly going to continue to mess with her head. Too bad, as she was coming back well this year.
what a joke
maybe she could use some time on the balance beam or something

How do you watch it in slow motion?
At regular speed there appears to be no change in either of their forms prior to Uceny falling down. I think she caused her own fall and McGee had nothing to do with it.
I DVR'd it - so I was able to rewind it and watch it frame by frame. And if you push the "next frame" button quickly its like watching it in slow motion. I clearly saw three different points of contact between McGee and Uceny - Uceny definitely did not trip herself up.

only watched the replay in regular speed. I can't tell if there was contact, but if there was it still appears that her clipped leg then hits her other leg and she falls. She seems unable to handle any kind of contact without losing her form and falling. runners get clipped and spiked routinely without falling.... i get the feeling that if a leaf fell on her she would trip. Not saying she wasnt clipped or even if this instance she was fouled, but she needs to address this so she doesn't fall again!
All debating of fault aside, I have to agree. All of her falls occur when she runs on the outside. Did everyone notice that Mary Cain went to the rail from the gun ? Uceny needs to go the rail, tuck in , and stay out of trouble - as she clearly gets into trouble on the outside lanes. I think she's fearful of getting boxed, but as they say - lanes always open up at the end.

How can you see contact from that video, when there was no change in their motion, and from across the track? I'm not saying there wasn't any, but am curious how you were able to see it. Also, what was the contact type in the 3 instances?
