What's so hard to understand here people? It's not a race thing. Quit being so f-ing PC and paranoid, and look at the facts. It is what country the said runner is from.
As I said in another post: if Torres was black, but from Detroit, Gary, Harlem, whatever, 99% of the people would still have been cheering him on against Cragg at NCAA's! If you believe otherwise then you are a fool, and deserve to live in your miserable, paranoid, whiny little world.
There's nothing wrong with cheering for the home country, considering we are in the US and the foriegn athletes choose to come over here for various reasons. I'm sure even they don't expect to be loved as much as a competitor from the native homeland.
