thank goodness. I am sick to death about hearing all this "king" bs. he tried his usual sit and kick bs...lalang walks him down.
Yeah, 2nd place under old MR time to the fastest collegian ever while doubling back from a 10000 victory is a pretty poor result.

Jealousy is a sickness, get well soon. Cheserek may have come up short to Lalang, but he still crushed his previous PR by what 20-30 seconds.

Why are you ROFL? He would definitely have taken Rupp down with a 24.x final 200m

That's nothing. I've beat my PR by a whole minute before.

People were thinking he could take Rupp down in that 13:03 race a couple days ago. As shown here, he most certainly could not.

And broken the previous 35 year old collegiate record, coming off your 4th collegiate title that was in a 10k less than 48 hours before and doing this all as a frosh?
Didn't think so.

Not sure I'd anoint him king but 4 titles and a runner up as a frosh isn't bad. Or breaking the previous record that had stood for 35 years.
Now some reality on the 5k, Kithuka and Ahmed both lead for stretches of this race. Lawi HAD to push the pace to have a chance to win this race, so not sure how it's Ches' fault for not leading the race.,Ches also got clipped on and heal which tripped him up pretty bad and took a number of elbows from Ahmed and Kithuka without any complaints and he made no excuses after the race. Pretty humble, the same way he was after he won the 10k.
So if you have problems win posters on the board fine, but the juvenile need to tear down a fantastically talented runner speaks volumes about your character.

Um, no. There is nothing definite about something that didn't happen. Are you Ventolin?

You are really upset aren't you. Don't cry just because your hero lost.
Nobody said that except for some obvious trolls. There was a thread discussing who would win in that 10000M race if Rupp and/or Farah were side by side and started their kick with 200M to go. People argued for Cheserek and there was a good argument to be made. Has Farah or Rupp run 24.7 at the end of any 5/10K race in their lives?
