Man, what a stupid question!!!!!!! Lots of people can run till they drop, and they can run lots of miles. The point or training is to run week in and week out, thus improving your fitness.
The stupidity of some of the posts here never ceases to amaze me.
Take care!
22 in a day. 77 in a week. That is why I am just average.
50 miles in one run. 50 km two different times. 132 in a week.
I think 18 to 20 is plenty long enough for a long run/day, and 100 miles in a week, done consistently.
50 in a day. 155 in a week. Not the same week as the 50 mile day.
21 in one run, 113 in a week.
28-day
130-week
510-month
5622-year(a leap year though in the interest of full diclosure)
Who has run more in their lifetime, Ritz or Webb?
I don't think you are average because you have ONLY run a certain amount of mileage. In fact, you could be doing too much, too little, or just the right amount. What you need to figure out is how to train smart- find what works for you.
I ran a 4 minute mile and my biggest day ever was 17 miles, and my biggest week was 84.
Mileage is fine, but it has to be a good mix of quality and quantity. To say you never COULD make it to 100 is just stupid. It is just an arbitrary #. And perhaps you should have been running harder for 75 miles.

A better question would be: what's the farthest you've run in a day that wasn't in a race?
