Can someone please explain the difference between the Nike Wildhorse and the Terra Kiger trail shoes?
Thanks.

Terra Kiger has engineered mesh upper and two nike Air units in the the sole.
Wildhorse is slightly heavier and only has one air unit, in the heel. Also normal mesh upper.
I work at a running store.
Kiger seems to be more of a trail racer. Both 4mm heel-toe drop.
I own both but cant use either for normal miles, I prefer the Patagonia Tsali. to each their own.
I've run in the Kiger for two pairs. I do about 80 mpw and try to run mostly on trails, but I always from my house or office, so a good deal of road in there, too. In all honestly, probably half and half.
Kiger is a great shoe, but I feel like it dies VERY quickly. I am not sure if it is intended ONLY for the trails, so road running just kills it, but after about 100 miles it feels like you're running in a pair of Toms.
I love the shoe nonetheless, but I wish it had a longer life for the $150 price tag.
