The Swarthmore last chance meet is known for producing some huge 1500 pbs over the years. It's where Kyle Merber ran 3:35.59 in 2012:

The big 1500 pbs have now spread to the women's ranks as Ajee Wilson lowered her pb by 9+ seconds last night, from 4:21.16 to 4:12.10.

Quick Take #1: This clearly shows Wilson, who just turned 20 on May 8th, has clearly moved on nicely from the disappointment of going into World Indoors as the #1 seed but failing to make the finals.
Quick Take #2: A huge pb, but nothing shocking for a 1:58 800 runner. That being said, it's a great sign of better things to come for Wilson.
Last year, she struggled at anything over 800. She only ran 2:44 last year in a 1k record attempt at the end of the year and then only 2:48 at 1k indoors this year.
Coming into the year, Wilson had just 4:24 pb.
