Upper looks much improved.
Running Warehouse has them now.
I have some of the last iteration of the Adios 2 that I stocked up on before I had foot surgery that are too narrow for me post-surgery (Altras are the only shoes that don't hurt now). I will sell them for like $40 a pair and ship them if you want then. I think I have at least 3 pairs (size 12). Hate to see them wasted.
Exactly which Adios 2 are you referring to?

Congrats on trying every make of every brand.
Liar.
Italian hand-made leather wingtips are the only shoes that don't hurt.
If you mean the Adios Boost 2, they are out in June 2014

Adios 2 (non boost) have been out a few years now.

Ok, lets just say at the moment Altras are the only shoes I have found with a wide enough toebox (and that aren't overly heavy) that don't make my toes hurt. I am open to other suggestions of a wide-toebox shoe that is well under 10 ounces. At this point, if a shoe doesn't hurt, I am not in a mood toe experiment. I tried a shit-ton of shoes pre-surgery. Loved the Adios (favorite shoe ever) but the narrow toebox hurt both before and after surgery.
http://www.wheelessonline.com/ortho/hallux_rigidus_and_cheilectomyTo give you an idea of what I have been reduced to from double cheilectomy for Hallux Rigidus 17 months ago and toes that, post-surgery, still only bend about 15 degrees, I wear hideous Vibrams all the time casually because they don't hurt my toes. Altras are the only shoes that haven't hurt much since I tried to start back running (may be others - would love suggestions of a very wide toebox shoe that doesnt' feel like a box.)
Otherwise, the Adios to me was the perfect running shoe. I trained and raced in them as long as I could take the toe pain (got to the point where I would cut above the bad toe and not lace over it so I could keep using them.)
Sorry, I meant Adios Boost 2...I saw a video that it is June, 1. Great looking upper! Boston Boost as well (9/1)
