Thinking about getting them for my summer base training. I tried them on and they felt good and runners world had a a lot of good things to say about them. Just wanted to know if any of you "seasoned" runners had them and if you liked them?

Bump the thread from yesterday.
Well I know a guy who has them. He says they are a little heavy but have a nice ride, if you like cushy shoes
Can't find the post. I have them and love them. Best shoes I've worn in a long time. Responsive, flexible and great ride.
best shoe ive ever worn.

Agreed as one of the best shoes Ive worn in years , great last , great road feel.
indeed, Boost technology is really a game changer---great shoe. also try the adios Boost and Boston Boost. truly exceptional shoes from adidas.
Thanks for the input guys! I've been looking for a shoe that will help me in my increase from 50-60mi/week to 70-80 this summer.
I've also been looking for a shoe that has a lot of forefoot cushion and is pretty flexible and responsive.
Holy sh_t!!!!!! Those things are expensive.
I'm hoping adidas figures out how to make the boost midsole lighter and comes out with a boost tempo - that shoe could be just right.
I run in the boost energy - love the midsole but the upper is weird. I would switch to the glide but it seems heavy and expensive.
The energy is buyable at discount because it has a replacement - you might want to try that instead of the glide if weight matters to you.
Exactly what I look for in a shoe. I was wearing the Brooks Launch and Nike Glide. I don't know what the weight is but they ride "light." I also have a pair of Kinvera's and they have been moved to dog walking shoes. I have race shoes for racing but have no desire to run 70 miles a week in flats.
I haven't tried on the Energy 2 and don't know what makes them $20 more but would love input.

They are only 10.4 ounces. For a distance trainer, that's not very heavy at all.
Why do you care what your training shoe weighs?
slow day for the adidas tech reps apparently with all the different adidas shoe threads popping up.
I'm no Adidas rep. Go try a pair on and go for a run.

I'm not connected to adidas in any way either. The supernova glide boost is legit. I don't know if I've ever worn a better training shoe. 100% worth the money.
