Everything i read refers to the SIDES. Mine are in my belly just below the center of my ribs.
What causes this? Ive run about 15 races now from 5k to marathon got it in EVERY single race some worst than others.
I've tried:
Not eating
Eating just a light carb (Grain bar)
Eating a bannana
Eating cereal
Drinking coffee
Not drinking coffee
Having just water and a small fruit
having a fruit snack
Having just eggs
Having just bread
Nothing has worked, everything i try ends up with me having a good deal of pain once i reach the threshold of "going hard". I don't typically cramp in training but it's happened a few times.
Anyone else cramp in the center of their stomache? I have a marathon soon and need to figure out what to eat beforehand.
