Still iffy on the sayonaras....what are your thoughts of Mizuno precisions as marathon shoes?

Loved those shoes. Do they even still make them?

this thread lead me do do a google search and it looks like Running Warehouse has them in stock in my size ($60!). i'm pretty surprised since i thought they were discontinued...must be old stock or something.
I actually ran a marathon in precision in 2012 on a hot day and had no problems with blisters. My feet hurt less after that marathon than the other 3 i've completed as well. It probably helps that i trained in them leading up to the race though.
They certainly aren't a racing shoe, but unless you are really, really fast, running a 'thon in a shoe that feels more like a light trainer is probably a good idea.
I've used the Precision in marathons before and plan to use them in Boston this year. I'll give up the 1-3 ounces of weight for the extra cushion, especially on a course like Boston's.
Absolutely love the Precisions. Was bummed when they discontinued them, but like the other poster, I bought six pair from Running Warehouse while they still had them.
Thanks I also grabbed 2 pair on running warehouse (probably will grab a couple more) .......wish mizuno would bring them back.
