I'm at a point where I'm trying to find a new marathon flat that fits my feet well. Have tried several traditional/popular flats, but they're all generally too narrow or curved in the forefoot and don't agree with my toes when I'm going 26.2. I've trained exclusively in flats for a long time, so adjusting to anything minimal is not an issue. I've tried on the Skechers GoRuns and GoRides at a local store and liked both- forefoot feels great. Not sure I have a preference for one or the other. No one locally carries the GoMebs so I can try them on to compare.
Which model do people recommend as the preferable marathon racing flat? Should I take a chance on ordering a pair of GoMebs (and how does size compare to the others?), or go with either the GoRuns or GoRide (which I know feel good)? I'm pretty fast and high mileage as well, but I can usually get 600-800 miles out of most flats. Would be curious to hear about durability.
