Strategy worked out. Terrific run.

Yeah buddy!!!!!
Great running!
It's cute that those little white girls thought they had a chance
THAT was a good race.
Well done, her. Thought she was cooked after taking the first 400 so quick.
YYYEESSSSS!!! That was AWESOME. After a sub 28 first 200m, I thought she was going to fade horribly.
800m is the best race, indoors or out.
Congrats Price.
If she'd lost, there'd have been a thousand jerks wailing about how front-running is stupid
Front-running rules
Yes, she did a great job of getting the lead, and then running the rail and moving out to make it hard for the others to pass her, while picking up the pace as needed.
Perfectly executed thing of beauty.
Beautiful running, great strategy for an indoor race. Pushing it on the bends to make everyone run the extra distance.
You could tell she was struggling with 200 to go, and the last 30m was just molasses. Perfectly controlled by her, though, especially how she forced people to go outside if they wanted to pass.
Naive and silly tactics. Why not jog the first 550 then watch the rest of the field run away from you?
Brave girl. Nice job.
Yeah, that little swing to the outside coming out of the last turn was classic. It probably sealed the win for her.
Magnificent race. Classic and perfectly executed 800. A mid distance clinic.
what an awesome run! she was one of the best ever in high school 800. Great to see her reaching new levels.
Well what the hell did she place????
Great run...worthy champion!
I remember watching Chanelle dominate the 800m at the PA state championships back in 2008. I can't believe she made it this far. I'm very proud of my fellow Pennsylvanian!

BS.
She opened exactly like Hinriksdottir did in her youth and junior championships (about 28.0, 30.0), but closed in
62.0 rather than Hinriksdottir's 63.0.
Two great front runners, but Price did NOT crater.
