Is anyone out there who dual trains like me (non professional athlete)? Meaning I see a lot of runners and a lot of weight trainers but don't see anyone who's interested in both. Now i'm not talking about runners who happen to lift to become better runners. I'm talking about runners who also lift to be stronger which may or may not help with running and vise verse. To be a good runner your body eventually burns everything needed to sculpt it to be the best that it can be. Any unnecessarily muscle or fat is being sculpted and eventually chiseled away. So for someone like me who wants to be an ok runner (by my own standards) but still have a body as a middle weight boxer is quite hard. Its like i'm pulling my body apart in two opposite directions. But i'm just curious....is anyone who does or wants the same thing as me besides myself......
