I recently switched from a heel to midfoot strike and am having lots of midfoot blister problems. I've been using Altra Zero Drops, whats a good alternative? My marathon training hasn't been able to get off the ground with these constant blisters.

Most likely you're still reaching too far ahead of your own center of gravity for the midfoot strike. The 'braking effect' you are maybe looking to avoid is still there, and being soaked up by your midfoot, which is overloaded with the stress.
One of the most important elements to successfully running midfoot is a brisk cadence of >180 strides per minute. This brings your feet back toward you, as well as loading each footstrike less.
