It's been 3 days since I hurt what I believe is the posterior tibial tendon where it connects to the heel of the foot. The pain if around the arch of the foot at the side of the big toe and it'll hurt if I press on it.
Anyone had to deal with this and how long did it take before you could run again?? First day was really bad I could hardly walk but now I could walk but I can tell it'll be painful if I want to do anything like push off with my toes on a run.
Would icing it and wrapping it in compression tape speed up recovery? Assuming it'll heal eventually with rest, should I take any precautions like wearing compression soaks or any sort of aid to help prevent reoccurence?
