I've always thought maximal cushioned shoes were a pretty stupid fad but maybe they have a purpose.
It's pretty widely accepted that running on soft surfaces is good for the legs. Say you don't have any soft surfaces near you, are a maximal cushioned shoe on concrete or asphalt be the next best thing to a soft surface?
