I use the Pegasus for slow easy runs, the lunar racer for speed tempo runs. I am looking for a light, soft shoe for long runs. Any suggestions?

Zoom Elite all the way. Fantastic shoe, it's obviously not as light as your LR's but it's certainly lighter, more responsive than Pegasus. Ideal for steady and long runs where you don't want big chunky shoes on but also want a bit more cushioning than flats give you.
Second the elites, got this pair http://amzn.to/LBEG0g and love me. Doesn't hurt that they look sexy imo.
Thanks for the responses. I tried an earlier version of the elite and the arch felt too high…kind of like it was in the wrong place. I'll try them again.
Good luck with that, didn't work for me. I also wear Luna Racers for speed work and races (up to half marathon) and run in Nike Free for short runs. I have been unable to find Nike shoes that suit me for long runs. The closest I've come is the Flyknit 1 but it's not really great for runs longer than 14 miles. I've tried the Zoom Elite and hated it - it's not a neutral shoe IMO, the way the arch is built up. So for long runs I now use the Adidas Adios 2. It's lighter than Zoom Elite and it's a proper neutral, yet still supportive shoe.
I'll 2nd the Zoom Fly; the support isn't too noticeable for a neutral runner, it's much more responsive than the Pegasus (and lighter at only 8.8 ounces) but it still has enough body to get you through some longer distance.

Nike Flyknit Lunar2...coincidentally it dropped today. Awesome, awesome shoe. I love the Zoom Elite as much as the next guy but they're really not much lighter than the pegs and the FL2 is just on a whole different level.
Does the fly knit lunar 2 ride like the old luna trainer?
Lunarspeed Lite. Best trainer ever except for questionable outsole durability in the toe off area
Thanks a lot for the tips. Very helpful!!
I will check them all out.
ZE's ARE alot lighter than Pegs. Stop posting completely incorrect information.

it's about an ounce, so lighter but not a wild amount. I guess more importantly the ZE isn't a lightweight shoe really, it's almost 10 ounces.
