I am training for a spring marathon - hoping to break 3hrs.
At the moment I use Brooks Ghost 6 for easy and MP run, and alternate some Mizuno A2 (Precision and Aero) for speed work or faster tempos.
So, my Ghost6 seems less durable than their previous versions (I loved the 4 and liked so much the 5) and I am looking around for a shoe to use for MP run and for the Spring Marathon.
I have seen good deals on
- New Balance 890 V3 (tried in the shop, I expected them to be "softer")
- Saucony Kinvara 4 (tried in the shop, wow these are comfy - but will my achilles suffer the low drop?)
- Nike Flyknit Lunar 1+ (also very comfy, but will they be a good choice for a 42K and will they last like the previous two in terms of miles?)
Also looked with curiosity at the Adidas Energy Boost but did not find my number to try it on...
any insight? thx!
