I sent my garmin through the wash on accident. It still works, I haven't connected it to the charger yet, but half of the screen doesn't work anymore. Is there anything I can do to try to salvage it?

send it through the drier
I've brought wet ipods back to life by putting them in a ziploc bag filled with dry white rice. It's worth a shot.

God damnit it's worth a shot
bad advice. Just let it dry completely over an air vent!

Should be salvageable and under warranty since it's not made by Apple.
I had my iphone sent through a full cycle this morning. Washer and drier. Only the camera is not working so far.
Garmins should only be dry cleaned with light ironing.
