How far have you run in the Adios Boost? I tried them on, but there seem to be less cushion at the ball of the foot then in the adios 2. I was purchasing the shoe for a marathon I have in January
I went with the Adios 2 because of the lack of cushion in the adios boost. Did you notice this? Some have stated their feet get beat up towards the end of marathons in the adios boost.
heh - just the opposite for me. even in a 10k I start feeling the road too much in the regular adios 2.
But I did a 15k in the adios boost last week, in 23 degree temps, and felt bouncy and great to the end. on a moderately hilly course. Set a pr even. to be fair the shoes are brand new - maybe they will compress.
I've run around 50 miles in the boost - incl 12 miles on that 15k day incl the warm up and cool down.
I do think adidas forefoots are different than NB or asics - the forefoot feels separated from the heel - not as smooth a rolling action as in other shoes. I feel it in the adios and the tempo. less in the boost, but it is still there. the slapping does diminish at speed tho.
