Doing stretching/ strength work to build overall strength. I have a fallen medial metatarsal and current shoes are alright(brooks ghost) however there is abnormal wear on the medial forefoot. I have been trying some asics 1100 series but it seems the heel is tuned to heel pronators and my hip does not agree.
I am an avid cyclist and in my pearl izumi cycling shoes the insole has a varus wedge insert that reduces forefoot pronation. I can ride as long as I want with these inserts in. They are a cycling specific insole so they don't really work that well in the ghost's. The shoe for late stage pronators seems to be the asics 3000 but those are only available at asics.com and they seem bulky. Thoughts? I do like Brooks fit and did notice the Ravenna's which seem more flexible than asics yet seem like a completely neutral heel. Thank you in advance.
