If killing bald eagles is okay, we should also build more hydroelectric dams. Salmon are nowhere near as cool as eagles.

The way I understand this situation from previous years is that birds will fly into the blades and birds will die. Because they are endangered permits must be issued in advancefor the possible kill of eagles. I seem to remember the limit is 3 per year. It's not like they are being stalked and shot.

Bald eagles are not even endangered despite what most people think. Their repopulation has been among the most successful conservation efforts in history. They are extending permitting and reporting requirements that already exist for other endangered bird species to include the bald eagle. This is a complete non-story.

Bald Eagles are now so numerous that this form of natural selection is needed.

Now if we could get security cameras to fire a fricking laser beam into hold up artists we'd be all set for thinning our own herd.

Bald eagles really don't mean much to me, and their population has grown to the point where they've become a nuisance. I hope Obama issues hunting permits to individuals in an effort to raise more government funds.

The goal of the environmentalist movement is to destroy the fossil fuels industry not protect nature. If environmentalists have to sacrifice endangered animals to justify subsidizing completely useless sources of energy like wind, they don't mind that a bit.
