There is a gem in this article:
http://www.runnersworld.com/runners-stories/rw-streaker-profile-alex-ameen
"In February, Ameen found herself in Alaska while visiting her boyfriend’s family. Using a snowmobile to calculate a mile–her GPS couldn’t locate satellites in the remote area–she kept her streak alive while dressed in thermals and snow gear."
I mean, good for her for running even though the GPS didn't work (I find streaks to be pretty silly), but wouldn't going out for a 10-15 minute jog be enough?
Is anyone else concerned that GPS doesn't work in AK?
