15:40 is my best PR. I'm guessing that puts me in the top 100,000, but out of the top 10,000. That's for current rankings...for all-time, increase it by a factor of 10? These are wild guesses, of course.
My PR was/is 5:39:58. (That was about 30 years ago...and 50km RW, btw.)
I'd imagine that I might be in the top 10,000 on the world all-time list. Although almost every serious walker is faster than that pathetic time (and most a great deal faster), how many people have seriously walked a 50k?
Top 200 or so at the moment.
3:46 mile PB, put myself second or third?
Why estimate? Isn't there already website that does this for you? At least for annual rankings. I dont know if it does all-time rankings.

Not if you suck as bad as the average person.
My marathon PR is 2:37. I'd say that puts me somewhere between 10^5 and 10^6 on the all time list.

For anyone interested, here's the website with all the top times of each event.

I am the best miler in Chattanooga so I would guess 1102 since chattanooga is 1/1102 of the worlds population
At my peak I was top 100
At present I am top 1,000,000,000 for sure. Possibly as high as top 100,000,000

Uh, Chattanooga is not 1/1102 of the worlds population. It's closer to 1/41600.

I am the best miler in Chattanooga. I just don't race too often. So you are 41601.
If I was a woman I'd be in the top 100 from the mile through the marathon.
I roughly took the data and put a exponential curve and equation to it using excel.
The equation is y=(1x10^-55)(e^(0.1678*x))
y = your place in all time
x = your time in seconds
So with a 15min 5k, I am somewhere around 30 trillionth.
I think a giant bell curve would be more representative but I am terrible with excel and statistics. Plus I think the exponential equation got a little too exponential (It sloped upwards too quick).
4:25 mile....probably top 100,000? top million? hard to say
Try
They rank your time based on all road races and give you a percentile on where you rank.

your equation is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wrong.

you really think a 4:25 mile would only be top million? I have no idea where you'd rank but you'd be well within the top million. I'm sure you'd be top 100k
In the top 500,000 in every distance from 100m to half marathon. Not in the top 50,000 at any distance though.
