So I have to switch my running shoe brand from asics to nike. Right now I currently love the asics nimbus shoes. In your experience, is there any nike shoe that is very similar to the nimbus?

No. Change schools to an Asics or Brooks school.
Vomero. Pegasus is nice too.
Why are you switching?
The Pegasus might be the closest thing...
Moved from the nimbus, to brooks glycerin (hated them) and am now running nike lunarglides
Switching from Nimbus, the Nike shoes closest to these would be Pegasus. However, if you want a slightly less cushioned and lighter shoe, the Zoom Elite is fantastic. I would recommend both.
Wrong! The Nike version of the Nimbus is the Vomero NOT the peg.

You do not have to switch to Nike. You may have to switch to Nike or else. Find out what the "or else" is. Find out why. Find out the details, including the money involved. Report back here. This ought to be interesting. It might be interesting to the DoJ also. Right now there is an odor of anti-competitive shenanigans. There must be more involved than shoes.
On paper, the Vomero would be the Nike answer to the Nimbus: Neutral, Major Cushion, Plush. The Pegasus would be a lighter version, though the Pegasus is a little more curved lasted. The Nimbus is very stable (as neutral cushioned shoes go) so you might like the Lunarglide which is a little more stable than the Vomero or Pegasus.
On paper yes, but the Vomero is awful. From ACTUAL USE of the 2, Pegasus feels the more comparable and direct switch over choice of shoe. IN MY OPINION.
Anybody can google this sh*t. The guy asked on here because people here run in these shoes and could give proper opinion and experience related feedback. Not shoe spec sheet comparison nonsense.

Ryan Hall is the OP, Al Sal says he has to switch.
