So today I was running a pist season XC race, I ernt out well and was in 3rd. A half mile in, someone clipped my heel and my shoe popped off. At this point, I knew I was going to run a bad race but figured I'd finish. It was going so-so until we got to the woods. I wrnt through and at the creek crossing, I got a rock lodged in my foot. I was going to tey and push through it, but it continued to get deeper into my foot. I ultimately ended up dropping out. What would you guys do in this situation.
