Dude, she would have won the boys race. Everyone knows she's unstoppable on mud, no matter how much better her opponent may be on a track.
0/10
Would easily have beaten D'Agostino, who only won by a few seconds. She is by far the best HS runner in XC (all-time), and since the 2nd place girl already lost to a HSer who is not in Baxter's league, it is just logical. The no-name girl from Iona almost stole the race, and she can barely break 9 minutes for 3k, and hasn't even run under 15.30 for 5k. Baxter, since she is better than Cain (proved that at NXN last year, then just jogged through track season), can likely run under 15 minutes for 5k, so she would have won. Hopefully Oregon doesn't ruin her - if Hasay can run under 32 minutes for 10k, Baxter should be under 30 minutes by the times she is done at Oregon, or at least ready to run 2h15 or faster for the marathon - much better runner than Radcliffe. Baxter could win world XC if she bothered to try for the team, whereas Radcliffe got lucky with no competition (other than that doping Wang girl from China).

I agree with everything you said except the girl from Iona DOES have a name.
