My fingers become inordinately cold during runs this time of year and it makes the whole run miserable. Can someone recommend an awesome pair of gloves or mittens?

I've been thinking about getting these: http://arcteryx.com/product.aspx?language=EN&gender=mens&category=Gloves&model=Venta-LT-Glove because pretty much all running gloves I've ever had have been crap so I've been looking outside the usual companies.
You can find good running gloves at Dick's. Go for the good brands like Nike, which is what I use and what seems to work pretty well for me. It's all about preference, but they seem to have a number of options that you can buy. They are a little pricey, but it's worth it
Gloves are no good. Mittens are good, they get all of your fingers nice and toasty, sometimes even sweaty. I had to take mine off last night when it was ~35 because my hands were too hot.
Socks on your hands work as a very nice alternative as well. Socks and mittens are cheaper too.
I like both of these gloves.

They are a light to medium weight glove with a convertible wind blocking mitten. You keep that wind off your skin and use that mitten cover as an extra insulator and you get the best of both worlds.
Depending on how cold your hands get in different temperatures you could go with a more heavier fleece glove.

(I know they are XL but you should be able to find any of these cloves at your local running shop.)
