Hi. I could really use some advice, and I will appreciate anything you can offer me.
I think my body changed or something because I used to be able to wear shoes like saucony triumphs and asics gel landreths (they stopped making these) but now it seems like everything I wear causes me Achilles tendon problems except for the grid tangent. At first I thought I had tendonitis because if I wore anything else I'd feel like crap when I ran and then I'd have pain and stiffness afterwards, but if I wear the tangents I feel great during the run and after. I've tried the fast twitch and mizuno wave precisions and they both cause problems. The tangents are the only ones I have that feel good.
So, my question is... do you know of any shoes similar to the grid tangents (and I mean REALLY similar) that I could wear that wouldn't aggravate my Achilles? They stopped making the tangents (which I think was stupid) so I'm pretty much wearing the ones I have left down to the seams. They still have some life left but they probably wont in a couple months. Ideally I'd like something just as light and narrow and low to the ground like the tangents. They're seriously the best shoes I ever wore, I don't know why they were discontinued.
Thanks
