Yeah, unlike at the world championships
Who?
I was at the NYRR building when he was there on Friday. He had a casual attitude and low expectations for the race. He's done what he had to do for 2013. I was more surprised at how poorly Lopez Lomong did.
Where are the results?
Somebody post the fvckin results please.
From his twitter it sounds like he was just cruisin in for the end of the season

Symmonds was never a possibility to win. He gave a nice interview on Run Fan Radio last week:
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/runfanradio/2013/09/16/runfan-radio-august-4-2013
The relevant part: He peaked for Worlds in the 800, held on a bit longer for DL, and hasn't been training for a mile. His Twitter feed last week showed him fishing.
I hope the folks who voted for him in the poll on the front page do better research when they bet on the horses.

What does fishing have to do with it ?? You can still train several hours a day and still have time for fishing! Its probably a good way to relax in between workouts.

If there were any workouts.
https://twitter.com/NickSymmondsMy tough regiment of crabbing and fishing proved to be insufficient preparation for #5thAveMile. Still, had a fun time. Thanks @nyrr!
he didnt run at all this week. all he did was fish. look at his twitter.
Crap race for Symmonds.
I thought he had a good chance to win.
Another stinker for Leo. Too many of them this year

Did he really say regiment? I didn't even know the Army had a crabbing division.

Is it possible he timed his doping cycle for worlds because it is an important race and didn't dope at all for this race since it is rather insignificant? Oh, wait, are you one of those fanboy/girls that still believes your man Symmonds is clean even though it is becoming clearer by the day that practically all the top athletes in all track and field events are doping?
