You know it's true.
You know it's true.
and they'll make less money than the average chem or engineering grad
well mathematicians are up there too!!!
People*
And I regret to inform you that your statement is incorrect.
Physics is a great subject for failed mathematicians

Is getting drunk on a Friday night and then posting on Letsrun your idea of fun? Tell you what, give me your email and I'll send you a picture of the labia and clitoral hood. You obviously could use the help
Ed Witten arguably one of the best physicists have solved
problems in knot theory that mathematicians couldn't.
He got the Fields medal.
Physics is too hard for physicists

He's really a mathematicians who dallies in physics though
NERDS!
Interesting. So if my kid switches to major in physics he will be smarter than everybody. Do they have to obtain a degree in physics or just major physics?
Just asking because I didn't major in physics so its hard for me to figure out stuff.
no he is not. he was trained as a physicist and thinks like one. I have met several superb mathematicians whose insight
in physics is that of a first-year student, although they
claim to understand quantum mechanics.
1/10.
Well that proves Physics are smarter, right?
"The [p]eople who major in [p]hysics are smarter than everybody."
Really? They're smarter than themselves? How does that work?
I don't think physicists or mathematicians are smarter than others. Just different.
About half of physics majors are smarter than everybody. The other half don't understand their own limitations.
Physics majors are dumb as rocks. They are also geeks who spend their spare time playing magic cards.
there is a difference between 'intelligent' and 'smart'. I have known a large number of 'intelligent' people that were dumb to the basic functions of the world.
Intelligence and inefficiency are strongly correlated.

.
If they are dumb to the functions of the world, why would you say they are intelligent?
