I can't decide between the Nike Pegasus 30 and the Ghost 6 for a daily trainer and a shoe I can also use for racing 5k up to the half marathon. Does anyone have an opinion on what shoe would best suit my purpose?

Bump. Anyone who run in both care to give details? I tried on Ghost and it feels pretty good. I've run in Pegasus, Skylon and Vomeros only.
Coincidentally, I had a customer comparing these two shoes this morning.
Both are great shoes for neutral to somewhat supinated runners. Both are bouncy. If you have been happy with the Nike shoes, then maybe stick with them. You can't go wrong with either option. Fit and feel. Both are great.
Easy. Pegasus 30. Mo Farah's shoe of choice.
is this true? ive seen him running in the 28 but not the 30

I love the Pegasus.... Might not be the best for 5ks though!

Funny, same with me. She went with the Pegasus. I prefer the Ghost.
I've run in both and it's just a matter of preference. The Pegasus is a softer ride from heel to forefoot. The Ghost has nice cushioning in the heel but is much more firm in the forefoot, which I prefer because it makes the toe-off feel more responsive. The Pegasus fits a little more snug and has a stretchier upper which some people really like. The Ghost has more room in the forefoot, which other people prefer. They are almost the exact same weight. The Pegasus has a tread that is slightly superior on most surfaces. The Ghost's outsole is more curved upwards than the Pegasus, leading some (like me) to prefer the way it toes-off.
There's a pretty good summation of their differences. So, what appeals to you?

I went with the Pegasus..my foot is on the narrow side and I liked the fit of it better than the Ghost. It would be nice if Nike lowered the heel slightly so the drop was 9/10mm and they were able to keep the cushioning at the same level.
I ran in the Pegasus for a few years but switched to the ghost the last 3 years with one pair of glycerin in there.
I bought 2 pair of ghost 5 a couple months ago. I've run in one pair but not the other. They were very spongy (too much) the first 4 or 5 runs but feel great now. I usually run 8-10 miles at a time.
I have been racing in the kinvaras the last couple years. Before that I raced in Saucony fastwich that lasted over 10 years and probably 125 races. That was a crazy good shoe so I am partial to saucony to race in but tried a couple trainers and didn't care for them.
