I'm not agreeing it's the best thing. But even though Centro followed him @ the WC's, it's not how he normally runs. Plus, I'm sure Centro considers Kip his main rival.

To clarify, I'm sure @ the WC's, Centro followed him to place high. But to do it again @ Zurich....
Kiplagat?

Kiprop. Didn't the other thread say he followed Kiprop?

http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&id=5373863&thread=5373678Says here he followed Kiprop... I mention Gold in the title... & you thought I was talking about Kiplagat?
Winslow would have won this race easily. What's the guy's first name again, ttc?
Well you did refer to Kiprop as Kip, when nobody calls him that, and other people in the race ARE called Kip...

Yeah why would anyone call him Kip... something like Bruce, or Silas would be more logical.

I referred to Kip as Centro's Gold Medal rival. Kiprop won Gold a couple weeks ago, to Centro's Silver.
You seriously need explaining on this?
Nobody - nobody - refers to Kiprop or Kiplagat as "Kip", so why would you assume anyone would infer that you meant one over the other?
For the future, the prefix "Kip" means "son of" or "boy" and just referring to someone by "Kip" is often considered insulting.
You could have meant that he followed Kiplagat (Kip) at Zurich to better learn how to beat Kiprop( his Gold rival).
You see, Kiplagat has a winning record against Kiprop.
So it may make sense to learn how to beat Kiprop by watching Kiplagat, who beats him often.
Of course, no one calls either one Kip.
But they do refer to Bernard Lagat as Kip.
Since that Kip wasn't in the race, we had to decipher between two runners who's name begins with Kip, who aren't nicknamed Kip, as to who you were talking about.
And since the subject was the Zurich race and Kiplagat won the race, you figure that would be the number one Kip here.

Your misuse of his name aside, no I don't think that he followed Kiprop to better lean him. Kiprop has blazing speed with sometimes poor tactics whereas Centro has decent speed with excellent tactics. I don't think that Centro can "learn" how to be faster from Kiprop. If anything, Kiprop could learn tactics from Centro.
There is no rivalry. Centro is overrated

Only rivalry is between Kiprop and Kiplagat. Asbel doesn't care about the others.
Nobody refers to kiprop as kip. Kip refers to kip litton, kip keino and a few others, but not kiprop.
Cent followed Kiprop because he wasn't fast enough to run in front of him.
1) Centro is a tactical runner and an amazing one at that
2) Zurich is never a tactical race.
