I started running in the New Balance Minimus Zero shoes about a month ago and have noticed my stride feeling stronger as well as hills feeling easier the past couple of weeks. I am only running in them 3 days a week(usually 6-8 mile runs). The other days I am running in a Saucony Ride. I've also noticed that hills feel easier the past couple of weeks as well. When I first started running in the Minimus I was very skeptical and very sore after my first couple of runs. I'm not sure if I buy into running in minimalist shoes every day but now feel they do provide some benefit in overall training. For those that are training with minimalist shoes did you notice your stride becoming stronger after some time? Has your racing improved?
