So what do people think this could be in a championship?
Clearly Kiprop is the better 15 guy on paper. Olympic Champ and double World champ with a PB over a second quicker than Farah in the same race Farah was rabbited to his own personal best. But Farah has stated his interest in running championship 1500s already this year (despite his marathon commitment).
I appreciate a lot of people think Farah "trains like a 1500 runner" but he likely doesn't truly and how might it play out with the rounds potentially acting in favour of Farah if he really did focus on the shorter distance with his distance background? Could he take it on at 500m and start a Cram- or ElG-style long run for home?
Would Farah stand any chance if he really went for it? I don't think you can discount the 6th fastest man of all time against the 4th fastest. Clearly this isn't too likely but I would love to see it happen. Probably more likely than Bolt over 400m at this point?
