I am looking at getting the Structure Triax, but it seems the 16 is no longer a Triax. Did they drop Triax name and is still the same shoe as the 15 Structure Triax?

There's no reason to call it a Triax anymore.
Back in the day there was the Nike Air Swift Triax (lightweight), the Nike Air Max Triax (neutral; called the Air Converge Triax for women), and the Nike Air Structure Triax (stability). Three shoes = Triax.
Now that the Structure is the only one left, no sense in retaining the Triax name.
I literately just bought a pair this morning and was searching around for 20mins before I figured it out. I thought they discontinued them, but realized it was just a name change.
FYI - Road Runner sports has them onsale for $67 with free shipping. Another 10% off with code - RRS215SUMR
Running warehouse didnt have them for some reason.

Are you dumb? It's called the triax due to the three air bag cushions in the actual shoe.
There have been 2 zoom air units in the structure since version 11(we are at 16 going on 17). Version 10 had a max air unit in the heel and zoom air in forefoot. Version 16 and the upcoming 17 has it only in the forefoot due to the co-moulding process in the heel(it wasn't possible to heat fuse the foams with an air unit in the middle for now).

Here's an Eastbay ad from 1998...only two airbags in these shoes too:
http://blog.eastbay.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Nike-running-98.jpgJust because the Pegasus doesn't have an exposed airbag doesn't mean there isn't one it it. Use this same logic toward the assessment of the Triax series...
Span Triax
Max Triax
Structure Triax
Converge Triax
Swift Triax
and many many more...
