If he can run sub 2:06 in the marathon when he trains for it he'll definately be right up there with Geb on widest range. Geb only ran like 3:32 for 1500 and same for bekele. A few more golds and a majors win might make him the GOAT.

Geb and Bekele set world records and raised the standards of athletic performance.
Mo has collected trophies.
Performers >>>> trophy hunters.

Yes and Geb set like 21 official wrs with 11 championship gold medals. Bekele has like 20 championship gold medals and four or three official wrs. But yes you are so right. If he does just those things than that would INSTANTLY make him GOAT.(sarcasm)

Performers are entertainers and likely doped up runners.

Sorta this. Even in medals Mo is well behind. Bekele and Haile both set multiple WRs as well...something Mo hasn't done. Or come close to.
If you have won less championships, and are slower than the people you are being compared to, I don't see a GOAT status being justified. Widest range isn't something that makes someone a GOAT.
Mo either needs some WRs, or he needs to win everything under the sun for the next 3-6 years...and even then I don't know if I could call him GOAT.
He is also, sadly, now in contention for the most "eyebrows raised".

Geb ran that 3:32 racing right behind the greatest 1500m runner at the world indoors. Not some rabbited diamond league race. I think most would say he would have been capable of in his prime hanging with Mo today. Also why when Geb has run 2:03 would a 2:06 make him comparable? Mo is a great runner and one of the best all time. To be considered in the conversation as G.O.A.T. he has a lot to prove.
He is the clean GOAT

Yeah, he's as clean as lance, marion, radcliffe, barry bonds and everyone else who never tested positive.
Geb ran 3:31 indoors, BITCHES.
Geb won World Indoor in the 1500.

And mo farah isn't?. I'm sorry but if you think the 5k/10k records are dirty (and rightfully so) than you have to put mo farah's 3:28 right up there as well. Like I said and I'll say it again. If he wasn't with the NOP, you all would be singing a different tune.
Unfortunately I have to agree with the OP. I very much doubt he would only go 2:06 though. It's almost like the script has already been written, you just sit back and enjoy the show.
GOAT = EL G.

Why not Wang Junxia or Qu whatever her name is that ran 3:50?
He will never be the GOAT because he chose to bloom exactly when Bekele got injured. Had he been the great rival to Bekele over the past ten years, dueled and beaten KB in Athens and/or Beijing, traded WRs... then maybe.
He ran 13:50 in Heat 2 of the Beijing Olympics 5K and missed the final. This is a GOAT?
Surely he's still not going to run the London marathon next year. He just ran 3.28 for f*ck's sake. He should go after some track world records.
I disagree there is no better time to put down a jaw dropping marathon time than next year. That and this 3:28 would be like park place and boardwalk. No other combination would be worth more. You can still roll an ankle or get a fracture somewhere chasing other combinations.

After today, Salazar would probably want Mo to stick to the track. Sadly, Mo signed a 2 year contract with the London Marathon. By running half of it this year, he is obligated to run the full distance next year.
