i can't find anything that fits anymore. i've been minimalist for about 4 years now, but i'm sick of vff's and my feet have actually grown a bit so nike frees don't fit anymore
any other brands y'all recommend?

Altras are awesome & have a wide toe box. New Balance 1010s are my fave though & they also have a wide toe box - though not as wide as Altra.

No they aren't. They're another laughable gimmick.

Yup. My feet are on the wide side of normal and I'm swimming in mine. Otherwise a nice shoe, decent cushioning but with good road feel and not mushy.
i should have added that the following don't fit:
- nike free
- saucony kinvara
- brooks (all)
- asics gel lyte whatever
- adidas gazelle thing
Check out the SKORA Core or Phase:
Good alternatives to Vibrams and not as ugly as some other really minimal shoes. Recommend Core if you're looking for the wider of the two.
