Honestly you think it will make a difference if you wear your shoes twice in one day for two runs and than give the shoes a day off, instead of hearing the shoes once both days.
This is why the US is in such a sad state of affairs right now.
As a good Canadian neighbour, I am going to help you. Ten miles is ten miles. It doesn't matter is you run it in one day or two. Your shoes will wear the same. The shoes don't need time to recoup after a run. They don't grow back.
Now what you might consider is, save an old pair of shoes for raining days, or days your going to run in the mud, or for a particularly snowy salty day. (Here in Canada on bad winter days they put salt on the sidewalks and road, which is hard on your shoes.) These days might wear your sneakers quicker than others.
